As of 4/16/09 DCMX has gone back to a bike only track. 

 

DC MX will be closed this weekend Sat. 4th and Sun.

 5th.  I will be working on the tracks making some changes

and getting them ready for the video shoot next Sat. Check

 back on Tues. for times and more details. Now

that the weather is turning warmer and it will be

harder to keep the dust down I will try to be open every

other weekend ,members will be able to ride on off

weekends, if I am at home and not off riding at other

tracks. If the rider turn out  picks up then I will open up

more. Sat. July 11th looks like the day we will try to shoot

the video. Keep an eye on the web site in case of any

changes. I have recently

teamed up with Jason Crane of LCQ Productions to make a

HD promotional video for the tracks. In the coming weeks I

will be handing out the new DC MX stickers to the people

who come and ride. The day that we decide to make the

video if you have your DC MX sticker on your vehicle or

trailer you will get to ride for FREE and be in the video. I will

be posting the date of the video as soon as I can. I am also

hoping to have the new shirts in by this weekend. So come

out and lets play on watered and groomed tracks.

Great news for the 2009 riding season at DCMX!

2008 turned out to be such a good year with rider

participation that we are expanding the track. I will

be adding about a quarter mile to the length of the

track. I have the new part laid out with flags now

and will start building the jumps as soon as

possible. This will not affect the pit bike

and little kids track, but there will be some changes

made to that track just to change it up every once

in a while.

 

   Also new for this year, I am going to offer yearly memberships.With the economy looking the way it does, this plan should save riders who are here even once a month some money. The $15 daily ride fee is not changing.

I am offering the following:

 

  -One person $100

  -Family two person $175

  -Family three person $250

 

   That breaks down to about $11 for one person,$19 for two,and $27 for three, if you only ride one time a month.

So hope fully this will help you support a local track that is run by a rider

and racer. Riding season from March to November.
